FAT SHEEP VALUES DECLINE (Special) OAMARU, Sept. 4. There were large yardings in all sections at the Waiareka sale to-day. Fat sheep were down by 2s to 3s a head on last week's prices, but the quality all round was good. Quotations:— Fat Cattle.—Best steers, £l7 10s to £2l; medium, £ls to £l7 10s; light, £l3 2s 6d to £ls 10s; prime heifers, £l4 10s to £lB 10s; light, £9 to £l2 10s; prime cows, £l3 10s to £l4 ss; medium, £9 10s to £lO 10s; bullocks, £ls 17s 6d to £lB 2s 6d. Fat Sheep.—Best wethers, 53s 6d to 555; good prime wethers, 47s 6d to 51s; light, down to 375; best ewes, 35s to 495; ewes, 35s to 495; others, 30s to 32s 6d. Store Sheep.—Wether hoggets, 21s 6d to 22s 6d; ewe hoggets, 27s to 375.
