VICTORY LOAN
PROGRESS OF CAMPAIGN £12,000,000 STILL REQUIRED (P.A.) 1 WELLINGTON, May 23. The Reserve Bank announced tonight that to-day’s receipts brought the total of the 1945 Victory Loan over the £13,000,000 mark, the exact amount being £13,008,011. The cash subscriptions during the day amounted to £232,409, including promises redeemed £5412. The amounts and percentages of objectives of the 20 war loan districts are now:—
