VICTORY IN EUROPE
THE DOMINION'S EFFORT ROYAL APPRECIATION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 22. The Acting Prime Minister, Mr W. Nash, has received the following message from the New Zealand High Commissioner in London, Mr W. J. Jordan: — “ Yesterday his Majesty received the four High Commissioners on the occasion of the victory in Europe, and expressed his appreciation of the efforts of our Governments. Parliaments, and peoples in the common cause. His Majesty spoke most appreciatively of our Dominion’s effort.”
