FURTHER COAL TO HAND NORMAL PRESSURE TO BE RESUMED Further quantities of coal for the city gasworks arrived in Dunedin from the West Coast yesterday, and the chairman of the City .Council Gas Committee (Cr L. M. Wright) said last night that it was hoped to resume full pressure in the gas supply during the next few days. , ~ . . Cr Wright pointed out that each consignment of coal contained only sufficient supply for one and a-halt day’s requirements, and this 'made it difficult for the department to build up the reserve stocks that were desirable.
