SHIPPING FREIGHTS

LONDON TO NEW ZEALAND INCREASED BY ONE-THIRD (P.A.) AUCKLAND, May 22. Shipping freight rates from London to New Zealand have been increased by 3J5 1-3 per cent., states cabled advice received from London by the Bureau of Importers. This rise makes a war-time increase of 100 per cent. , , The bureau states that no Indication is given whether the increases apply only to the New Zealand trade.
