(Special) BALCLUTHA, Mar. 23. There was a large yarding of sheep, numbering between 7000 and 8000, at the Balclutha stock sale to-day. Quotations: — Fat sheep: Heavy wethers, 35s to 40s; light, wethers, 24s to 30s; heavy ewes, 22s to 255; freezing ewes, 17s 6d to 20s 6d; fat lambs, 27s to 325; lighter lambs, 22s to 255. Store Sheep.—No young ewes were forward Quotations: Best four-year ewes, 24s to 275; best failing-mouth ewes, 12s to 16s Id; cull ewes, 8s; best ewe lambs, 25s to 275; best forward lambs, 20s to 21s 7d; wether lambs, 14s to 16s; small lambs, 9s to 11s. Fat Cattle.—There was a small yarding. Quotations: Best bullocks, £l3 2s 6d to £l6 12s Gd; fat heifers, £lO to £l2 2s 6d; fat cows, to £lO,
