(Special) BALCLUTHA, Mar. 23. There was a large yarding of sheep, numbering between 7000 and 8000, at the Balclutha stock sale to-day. Quotations: — Fat sheep: Heavy wethers, 35s to 40s; light, wethers, 24s to 30s; heavy ewes, 22s to 255; freezing ewes, 17s 6d to 20s 6d; fat lambs, 27s to 325; lighter lambs, 22s to 255.
