IN WESTERN KIANGSI
CHINESE REACH KANCHOW CHUNGKING. Mar. 18. The Chinese in West Kiangsi, driving from Suichwan, reached the outskirts of Kanchow (a big road junction some 200 miles north-north-east of Canton), where the Japanese are offering stiff resistance. In Hunan the Clr'nese recaptured three strongpoints. Chinese guerrillas blew up a 200-ton patrol boat off the Kwantung coast.
