FLORAL CARPET
LARGE SUM RAISED It was announced last night that the sum of £335 has already been received in aid of the Barnado Homes as a result of the floral carpet display by the Townswomen’s Guild in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Friday and Saturday. On both days the carpet was viewed by large numbers of admiring spectators. A considerable number of contributions have been promised, and it is desired that all intending donors should send the amounts to tary of the Townswomen’s Guild, 3b2 Moray Place as soon as possible. Mr J. Brown has arranged a childrens fancy-dress ball for next Saturday afternoon to assist the fund.
