CANADIAN MUNITIONS
(Rec. 7 p.m.) OTTAWA, Jan. 4. An Order-in-Council which was published to-day disclosed that Canada has assumed the financial obligation for all munitions contracts held by New Zealand in Canada at July 1, 1944, and subsequently. The cost is estimated not to exceed 1,500,000 dollars. This expenditure will come under the mutual aid programme.
