“FLARE PATH”

REPERTORY PRODUCTION England in war-time is always of interest to a public which fortunately has not had the experience of actual warfare. For this reason, the Dunedin Repertory Society’s production of “Flare Path” should make particular appeal, as it deals with the private lives of an R.A.F. pilot, an ex-actress, and a film star—in other words, the eternal triangle in a war setting. The popularity of this play may be gauged by its long run in London, and, with the talent available in Dunedin, an excellent production should result. The play will be presented for a season of seven nights during the period of the Industries Fair, and the production is in the hands of Miss Bessie Thomson. The proceeds are for a very deserving object—namely, the

provision of comforts for the merchant navy. Box plans will open at the D.I.C. on Friday.
