REDUCTION OF CAPITAL In the Supreme Court yesterday, before Mr Justice Kennedy, confirmation was sought of a petition for the court’s approval o# the reduction of the capital of Thomson’s, Ltd., cordial manufacturers, from £IOO,OOO, consisting of 100,000 shares at £1 each, to £50,000, being 100,000 shares at 10s each. Mr A. C. Stephens appeared on behalf of the netit’oning company.— His Honor made the necessary order of confirmation regarding the reduction of capital as resolved upon by the company. Petition for Divorce William Thomas Tretheway, a military pensioner, of Dunedin, for whom Mr G. T. Baylee appeared, sought the dissolution of his marriage with Clarice Gwendoline Mary Tretheway, of Dunedin (Mr C. H. Stevens), on the grounds of adultery. Percival Clarence Adams, a baker, was named as the co-respondent.—No defence was offered, and after evidence had been given on behalf of the petitioner, his Honor granted a decree nisi, *
