GRAND THEATRE
The new strategic highway from the United States to Alaska is the background for Charles Starrett’s latest screen adventure, “ Law of the North-west,” which is at present being shown at the Grand Theatre. Starrett has the part of a sergeant of the famous North-west Mounted Police who foils .a group of proAxis saboteurs. The supporting feature Is a gay musical comedy. ” Two“ Senoritas from Chicago,” in which the principal roles are played by Joan Davis. Jinx Falkenberg, and Ann Savage. Joan Davis, as a theatrical agent, introduces her friends as two Portuguese stage stars, and the subsequent complications produce some hilarious situations. Box plans are at Begg’s and the theatre.
