DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE In the banking section -on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday afternoon Bank of New South Wales shares were quoted at £33 15s (buyet) and £34 (seller), and Union Banks were wanted at £7 13s, without response. All insurance shares were inquired for at recent rates, but no sellers offered. New Zealand Refrigerating paid shares were wanted at £1 ss, with sellers at £1 6s 3d, and National Mortgage (A issue) were asked for at £2 15s, sellers being 2s away. There were offers for New Zealand Breweries at £1 16s 3d, sellers quoting £1 17s, and. fcfr; Broken Hill Proprietaries buyers offered £2 4s An offer of £SB for Colonial Sugar shares did not attract sellers. Buying quotations in the" Australian mining section were at £l'6s for Broken Hill South, £2< 13s -for -Biilolo Dredging, .and £1 9s 9d for Mount Lyells. No sellers quoted. .
