N.Z. AIR FORCE BAND
TRIUMPH OF ENTERTAINMENT 200-VOICE AIR FORCE CHOIR Next Wednesday’s R.N.Z.A.F. band concert in the Main Town Hall brings to Dunedin incomparable musical entertainment, with which will be associated the 200-voice Air Force Choir—the male combination that enjoyed instant public acceptance at the Liberty Loan concert. Next Wednesday’s concert is more than a band concert —it brings back to the local stage, the Air Force Band, the popularity of which is evergreen in the hearts of Dunedin. Last time this band was here, hundreds of people were unable to gain admission, As there is to be only one concert in Dunedin, it would be wise to make reservations at Begg’s on Monday morning. The prices are ss, 3s, and 2s, and 5s and 3s seats are reservable at Begg’s at no extra cost. In addition to enjoying “ 18 carat ” entertainment, those who attend the concert will have the satisfaction of knowing that the proceeds are to be expended in “Comforts for Flyers.’’ This Air Force Concert—the band and the 200voice choir—is being presented as part of the All Purposes (1943) Patriotic Appeal.—l4/8/43.
