SOCIAL TO SOLDIERS
A welcome home social and dance was held in the Assembly Hall of the Morn - ington School on Tuesday last, When the guests of the evening were the returned members of all services of the 2nd N.Z.E.F Mr M Haig (chairman of the Mornington District Reception Committee) welcomed the guests on behalf of the residents of the district. The following items were contributed during the evening: R.S.A. Soldiers’ quartet (Messrs Ross Hughes, I Ballantine. H. Grant, L. Coughlan), songs: Mr Wells, cornet solo; Mrs F. Haig, Mrs Chisholm, and Miss Aitcheson, songs. Dance music was played by the Georgians Dance Band
