DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE A quiet day was experienced on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday, only one sale being reported. No buyers were offering for Government 2£ and 3 per cent, stocks, although there were sellers for several issues. All Other Government stocks were wanted, but no sellers came forward in the higher rate issues. There was a good inquiry for insurance, 'shipping, meat preserving and woollen shares, and numerous offers were forward in the miscellaneous section, where business was reported in Macduffs (ord.), at 9s 9d. No change was recorded in Australian mining, and the New Zealand mining section was quiet. Yesterday’s Sales Dunedin.—Sale reported: Macduffs (ord.), Ss 9d.
