CUSTOMS RETURNS
\ FIGURES FOR MAY Customs revenue collected at the Port of Dunedin last month totalled £40,424, compared with £36,792 in May of last year—an increase of £3632. Beer duty showed an increase of £2235, and sales tax a decrease of £8297. The amount received for the War Expenses Account was £108,999 —an increase of £39,230 on the figures for May, 1942.
