SUITS FOR OFFICERS
VATICAN TAILOR'S PROBLEM (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, May 29. The presence of three British officer prisoners of war in Vatican State has created a problem for the only tailor at Vatican city, says the Stockholm correspondent of the New York Times. Tradition demands that prisoners shall wear civilian clothes, but the tailor, who for 40 years has made only clerical uniforms, confessed incompetence' to make civilian apparel. In the end he promised to make the suits from memory, but it is expected that they will deviate considerably from the styles of this day and age.
