(Rec: 10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Mar. 11. The Congress indicated clearly today that it intends largely to ignore the Executive’s “ Beveridge. Plan ” and write its own formula lor a settlement of post-war economic problems, says the Associated Press. Clearance is reported to have been given Senator W. George’s proposed special committee, with a 50,000-dollar appropriation for a staff to launch an immediate inquiry. Senator George said it would be the committee's aim to reduce to a minimum Federal participation in post-war rehabilitation, and encourage individual initiative.
