THE BRITISH PROPOSALS. CONSERVATIVES’ VIEWS RUGBY, Mar. 11. A group of about 50 Conservative members placed their names to the following motion which was tabled in the House of Commons last evening: “That this House, while welcoming the Government’s social security plans, urges it to appoint a Minister of Social Security, who, in consultation with-the departments concerned, shall co-ordinate and expedite the work of preparing the necessary legislation, and also consider further those proposals of the report which so far have not been accepted by the Government.”
