CHURCHILL CLUB
FORMATION AT GISBORNE (P.A) GISBORNE, Mar. 11, •A public meeting, which was called by the Mayor of Gisborne, Mr N. H. Bull, decided to form what is believed to be the first Churchill Club in the Empire. By a coincidence, the meeting, although announced previously, followed the cabled report of the formation of a similar club formed by Danish boys. The objects of the two clubs, however, are different. The intention of the Gisborne organisation is to honour Mr Churchill, to remember his great services to the Empire, and to keep his name before succeeding generations.
