SEX EDUCATION
INVESTIGATION REQUESTED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 10. The question of sex education in schools was before the Wellington Education Board to-day, and a decision was reached to request the Government to set up a special committee to investigate the question. The suggestion was made that if the Government did not move in the .matter it: would be the duty of the board to take some action The board protested against the department cutting down the grant for libraries for training colleges. It was characterised, as a retrograde step, especially at the present time when library material cost more than ever before. Representations are to be made to the Director of Education.
