STEEL PRODUCTION
ALLIES POOL FACILITIES RUGBY, Dec. 14. Britain, the United States, and Canada to-day are united in creating a combined steel committee to “ squeeze every possible ton of steel out of the existing plant facilities in order to fulfil the combined war production programme for 1943,” according to official statements issued in London and Washington. The committee will treat the steel production facilities and munitions-making facilities of the three nations as a single unit. The committee will work in Washington.
