(Special) "CHRISTCHURCH. June 17. M. B. Edwards expects to leave Yaldhurst some time next month, when he will go into business in Greymouth. He has no intention, however, of dropping his association with racing. He has Imperium, Locrian, Irvington, and Aquitania in regular work, and probably they will all be trained by him at Greymouth. Locrian will not fulfil his engagements at the Manawatu meeting, but he is booked for a trip to Trentham, to contest hack hurdle races. He will be accompanied by Imperium, who is a good prospect for hack races up to a mile. Riding engagements for Wingatui include L. J. Ellis—Milton Abbas, Johnemby. Kernel, and probably Gold Flight, A. E. Ellis. Foxette; M. Billington, Valantua; G. Elliot, Inquisitor: B. H. Brodie, Synthetic; A. Stove, King's Toast. S. Green will remain in the North Island to ride at the Manawatu meeting. Roddy has been sore following a knocK when he was schooled over brush fences last week. He is on the easy list, and he will not be raced before August. M. "Conza has schooled Skyrena since he has had her in the North Island, and she may contest hurdle races at Trentham. Riccarton entries for Trentham include Sham Boy, Cheap Lodging, Wardress, Northern King. Sally Lunn, Circular Note, Renarde, Atreus, Beau Ciel, King's Toast, Maggiore, Arctic Dawn, Tea Drop, Imperium, Locrian, Skyrena, Rebel Lady, Dividend, Valantua, Donadea, Inquisitor, Arabian Night, and Botany. Other South Island entries include Anglo French, Noko, Irish Lass, Prince Shad, Midgard, Rockery, Boloyna, Symbol, Ballybrit, Valcron, and Foxette.
