At the Manawatu meeting the Ruahine Handicap field will be divided and each division will be run as a separate race, the first division being the second race on the programme and the second division the sixth. The divisions are:—Ruahine Handicap No. 1. of £l5O. Six furlongs.—High Class, First Round, Rebel Lady, Bright Lady, Varuna, Golden Acre, Amminol, Bunsby, Commando, Gaie Duchess, Hikorangi. Josette, Midian Star, Mihinui, Mymarta, Once Again, Po Huka, Self Preservation, Taitere, Te Pourohe, Theatre, Watchett. Ruahine Handicap No. 2, of £l5O. Six furlongs—Cheddington, Noble Eagle, Teacony, Potomac, Courting, Lady Virginia, Belle Renarde, Claratioh, Flying Spray. Polly, Hunting Princess, Keen Play, Midlass, Miner's Hope, Namesake, Passionace, Ackman, Sir Knight, Tasman Taxi, Tetratina, The Grand. Betting will be single pool and starting •times are:—ll.2s, noon, 12.40, 1.20, 2.0, 2.40. 3.20. 4.0.
