Divisions.—There is a possibility that both the Woburn Handicap and the Wainui Handicap at the Wellington Trotting Club's meeting will be run in divisions. "Amalgamation.—The fact that all the light-harness racing in Christchurch this season may take place on the New Brighton track suggests a probable amalgamation of the trotting clubs there.
Uenuku.—The Rey de Oro gelding Uenuku is likely to be in favour for the Wellington Trotting Club's meeting. He has scored three wins this season, including the Auckli-id Cup in 4min 28sec, and the Premier fiandicap in 2min 45sec. At Wellington he is on 3min 20sec and 2min 45sec respectively in the two principal events,
Maiden Pacers.—A good number of maiden performers will be paraded at Hutt Park on Saturday, including Alice Dawson, by Grattan Loyal—Margaret Chenault; Audition, by Jack Potts—Auditress; Bluestock, by Jack Potts—Cushla d'Or; Charles Grattan, by Grattan Loyal—Pat Dillon; Cry Baby, by Trevor de Oro— Wilding mare; David Derby, by Nelson Derby—Queen's Own; Jewel Junior, by Jewel Pointer—Ravenschild mare; Lady Rescue, by Loch Moigh—Rescue; and Lockheed, by Logan Fraser—Doll Dance.
