TO RACE ON EASTER MONDAY
C.J.C. AND WELLINGTON (Special) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 4. The Canterbury Jockey Club will hold a one-day autumn meeting on Easter Monday. The Racing Conference has informed the Canterbury Jockey Club that the Wellington Racing Club, which was granted March 14 and April 4 for its meetings, has applied to the conference for permission to change to April 4 and 6, Easter Saturday and Monday. The committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club, at a meeting to-day, decided that it would offer no objection. It is reported, however,.that objection to the change is being made by the Feilding Jockey Club.
