CONDITIONS IN ATHENS PEOPLE LIKE SKELETONS BERNE. Jan. 28. Two thousand people died in one day in Athens as the result of starvation. The people are like skeletons, and may be seen lying down in every comer of the streets. Bread costs 75s a loaf.
