DAILY INTERCESSION
Psalm Ixxii, 4: “He shall break in pieces the oppressor.” Our Heavenly Father, we thank Thee jor the downfall of tyrannies in the course of history, so that we noiu enjoy religious freedom and higher political privileges than our fathers knew. We rejoice to accord honour to honest labour and virtuous poverty. Hasten the day when all slaves will be set free, and when enslaved nations shall be delivered from the tyrants that at present oppress them. For Christ’s sake. Amen.
