INVALID SOLDIERS

RETURN HOME TO-DAY NOTED DUNEDIN MUSICIAN A batch of 22 officers and soldiers invalided home after service overseas will arrive in Dunedin by the express from Christchurch at 4.18 this afternoon. They will include Warrantofficer (first class) T. J. Kirk-Burnnand, well-known Dunedin musician, who was one of the officers in charge of the Kiwi Concert Party in the Middle East, and G. A. Pearce, the well-known lawn tennis player. Other members of the party for Dunedin are as follows:—Captain L. D. Hastie, Lieutenant L. D. M. Eadie, Sergeant H. P. Jefcoate. Corporal G. A. Private W. C. Buckley, Trooper C. Burford, Sapper G. E. B. Carey, Private R. J. E. Carvalho, Private ,W. M. Everett, Signalman G. P. McGoldrick, Sapper J. A. H. Pluck, Gunner E. H. Schlaadt, Private F. G. Smith, Driver C. E. Stewart, Sapper A. R. Taylor, Driyer A. J. West, Driver T. L. Raines, and Gunner G.'L. Williams. Lieutenant D. M. Patterson will leave the train at Oamaru and Sapper C. R. Campbell at Hampden. Relatives have already been advised by telegram of the men's arrival. Production of the telegrams at the registration office of the Otago military area at the Kensington Drill Hall will enable relatives to obtain passes, entitling two. next-of-kin to the railway platform to meet the men. All other persons will be barred from the enclosed section of the platform.
