MEETING OF ASSOCIATION The nonthly meeting of th* Otago Early Settlers’ Association was held yesterday afternoon, when there were.' present: Mr J. W Patton (president, in the chair) Messrs W. H. Ferens, E, Webster, F. A. Cheyne, R. T Stewart. J. Hope, D. J Calder, A E. Selby, Edgar Hazlett, F H Campbell W R. Brugh, J. Dey, «nd W. Paterson (secretary )- One early settler, Thoma. Fitzgibbon: (Arrowtown), Caribou, 1868. was enrolled during the month. The following descendants were enrolled Mrs Ki Brookfield, St." Hellers, Auckland (nee Will), grand-: parents Stately 1854; Mrs E. B. Smith (nee Morrison), Kew, father Caribou,; 1867; Dr M. M. Watt (Dunedin), grandfather Magnet, 1840. • The following gifts were received dur-, ing the month, and votes of thanks were passed to the donors:—Mr D. Malloch (Waikouaiti). copy of his book, ‘Early Waikouaiti ”, Mr G. W Dalgliesh (Dunedin), copy of Land Order of the New Zealand Company 'dated 1847; miners, right, issued at Arrow, 1865, and other interesting documents; Mr A. Ross (Ros-, ivn): collection of souvenir medals; Mr, W. H. Ferens (Dunedin), collection of fossils; from Mr R. W. Henderson (NorthEas f Valley), pair of passenger coach; headlamps: Mr J.
