MISSIONS TO RUSSIA

BRITISH AND AMERICAN MEMBERS MEET THE KING RUGBY, Sept. 17. The members of the British and American missions to Russia were received by the King at Buckingham Palace. Lord Beaverbrook and Mr Averiil Harriman presented them to his Majesty. Sir John Dill, chief of the Imperial General Staff, was also received in audience by the King at the Palace. THE SOVIET DELEGATION PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 18. The Moscow radio announced that the Soviet delegation to meet the British and American missions will comprise M. Molotov, Marshal Voroshilov, and M. Mikoyan, Foreign Trade Commissar, as well as the Commissars for the Red Fleet and Aircraft Production.

The Vichy radio stated that General Sir Archibald Wavell will shortly visit Tifijs to confer with the Russian Army chiefs.
