i JAPAN AND DUTCH INDIES NO ROOM FOR COMPROMISE TOKIO, June 12 Following final agreement at' a conference Qf Government leaders yesterday, instructions with regard to Japan’s attitude towards the Netherlands East Indies’■ reply to Japanese proposals were despatched to Mr Yoshizawa today. Earlier Mr Yoshizawa, in a radiophone interview, with the Yomiuri, said he would talk further with the Dutch officials only on instructions from Mr Matsuoka. i Mr Yoshizawa added that the East Indies’ attitude leaves no- room for compromise. The Associated Press representative in Saigon reports the arrival of a fleet of heavily-laden Japanese supply ships at Hainan Island. Two thousand Japanese soldiers departed from Haiphon. presumably for Hainan. The Moscow radio announced that Japanese nationals have been ordered to leave the Netherlands East Indies and shipping facilities were being provided.
