NEWSPAPER RATIONING BEGINNING NEXT MONTH (Rec. 1 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 13. The rationing Of newsprint will ,be begun in Australia early in July. 1 ' The Commonwealth Government notified the daily, weekly, and periodical proprietors that a 60 per, cent, reduction of newsprint is to be applied; The reduction will be based on the quantity used in the year ending June, 1938.
