HORSES AT CAMPS
INFORMATION SOUGHT IN HOUSE (Special) WELLINGTON. June 12. A return showing the total number of horses mobilised in the military camps at Waiouru and Burnham is sought by Mr H. S. S. Kyle (Opposition, Riccarton) in a motion of which he gave notice in the House of Representatives to-day. Mr Kyle also seeks information on the number of horses on the sick lines during the training periods at each camp, the number of horses that died or were destroyed during training, and the total amount of compensation paid to the various owners.
