Golf.—The first round of the Black and White Cup was played on Saturday. The winner of the medal round was Dr Kidd 78—10—68. Next week-end the first qualifying round of the Club ChamDionship will, be played in conjunction with the second round of the Black and White Cup. The draw will be at the clubhouse at 1.30. , Rugby: Football.—The Maniototo Foothall Sub-union's Flag Competition was continued on Saturday last, when comfortable wins were scored by Oturehua and Ranfurly. Playing on the- local ground, Eanfurly defeated Naseby by 23 points to 9. At Oturehua, the home team continued its unbeaten record by defeating Southern by 17 points to nil. The draw for thq second round of senior matches is as follows:—June 14: Ranfurly v. Southern and Naseby v. Ida Valley. June 21: Ida Valley v. Ranfurly and Southern v. Naseby. June 28: Ida Valley y. Southern and Ranfurly v. Naseby. Mr. Anderson, dentist, ,will visit 'Ranfurly on Friday next.—Advt. ' •■,
