QUEENSTON
Rugby Football.—The annual meeting ot the Wakalipu Football Sub-union was presided over by Mr W. McLean. The following office-bearers were elected'.— President, Mr C. M. Inglls; vice-president, Mr E. J. Sanders; secretary, Mr W. J. Hore; auditor, Mr R. McSoriley; delegate 1o S R.K.U., Mr W. Baird; emergency committee—Messrs A. Tripp, E. Saunders, and S. Brown; Referees' Appointment Board. Messrs W. McLean, W. James. It was decided that the Sub-union Cup be withdrawn, and that a draw be made for flag competition matches, to start on May 17 -It was resolved that transfers would not be necessary this season. The following is the draw:-May 17: Arrowtown v. Countrv, at Frankton. May 24: Countiy v Queenstown, at Queenstown. May 31. Queenstown v. Arrowtown, at ArrowtoK"fercPs• Association.—The annual meeting of the Referees' Association was held prior to the meeting of the sub-union. Mr C. M. Inglis occupied the chair. The following office-bearers were appointed.— President Mr C. M. Inglis; secretary, Mr L Hanrahan; delegate to Southland Referees' Association, Mr W. Warring.
