THE DUCHESS OF KENT
WORKING IN HOSPITAL COMPLETION OF TRAINING (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Oct. 15. It is now revealed that the Duchess of Kent has been working at the University College Hospital under the name “ Sister Kay ” for the last three months to complete the necessary number of hours of training to qualify fully as a nursing auxiliary. Only a few of the staff knew her identity, and several of the patients commented on the fact that “Sister Kay” bore a surprising resemblance to the Duchess of Kent. 1 When the Duke of Kent, as president of the hospital, recently paid a visit; the Duchess was presented to him with the other nurses and stood in a group at the entrance which cheered her husband as he left the hospital.
