The Lily of the Valley Lodge met on Wednesday, when Arch Druid Bro. W. Holdaway presided. P.D.P. Bro. H. Tyrrell, of Linden Lodge, was a visitor. A good response from sister lodges was promised for the dance next lodge night, April 10. to be held in the lower hall in honour of the grand president. Ero. A. R. Rankin, and District President Bro. N. A. Ingle. An invitation was received from Ivanhoe Lodge to an impromptu debate next Wednesday Royal Oak Lodge invited members to the installation of P.A. Bro. McKeach as D.P. No. 2 district on April 8. Pasarches were notified that the next meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter would be held on April 9. Sick pay amounting to £5 16s 8d was passed for payment. Arch Druid Bro. C. R. Jones presided over the fortnightly meeting of Royal Oak Lodge. Visitors were D.P. No. 2 Bro. Leßrun, and P-A. Bro. A. T. Workman, of Enterprise Lodge. The Grand Lodge delegates and the dispensary delegates’ reports were received. The lodge agreed to provide free medical benefits for dependents of members on active service. At tne conclusion of business, the lodge adjourned for the purpose of a game of cards. , T At the last meeting of Ivaphoe Lodge Arch Druid Bro. Anderson presided. Invitations were accepted from Lily of the Valley and Royal Oak Lodges to attend the installation of D.P. for Nos. 1 and 2 districts respectively, also an irvitation from the Loyal Albion Cricket Club. Delegates to Grand Lodge, Bros. C, Wilson and E E. Reeves, tendered their report of the proceedings of the meeting. It was decided to invite Lily of the Valley Lodge to send six members for an impromptu debate next Wednesday. A.D. bards gave a comprehensive report on members on the sick list. R.A.D. Bro. R. Morrison presided over a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter No, 1. The judge for the Beasley Banner awarded that trophy to the Lily of the Valley Lodge. The presentation will take place on April 10. The R.A.D. reported at length on, the recent meeting of four Royal Arch Chapters at which R.A. Chapter No. 1 were the hosts. It was decided to devote next meeting night. April 9. to discussing several proposals arising from the meeting. The R-A. secretary. Bro. F. E. Reeves, reported on matters of interest to the chapter which took place at the Grand Lodge meeting, Bro. Reeves was congratulated upon being elected to the Board of Management. Several matters pertaining to the advancement of the Order generally were discussed.
