THE W.E.A. AT CROMWELL
TO THE EDITOR Sir I ,—The published report of the debate between Mr A. C. Cameron and Dr Sutch is interesting in that it gives two long statements bv Dr Sutch and only one by Mr Cameron. It would tspm from the report that the opening speech of Mr Cameron was given about half-an-inch in the report published whereas Dr Sutch was given half a column or more. Then followed a report of what seemed Mr Cameron’s reply and a report of Dr Succh’s reply. The W.E.A. is under suspicion of being dominated by Leftists. Is my inference that the report of this debate was biased in favour of the Left correct? I wonder who wrote it? —I am, etc.. March 30. Interested.
