LEADS AND SECONDS THE ANNUAL TOURNAMENT COMMENCED The Dunedin Bowling Centre's annual leads and seconds fours tournament was commenced pn Saturday on six greens. Section play was completed on all greens before rain set in, and the final games of the tournament will be conducted on Saturday. The draw for Saturday’s play and the green to be used will be announced later. Saturday’s results were as follows: Green Section A

ONE-DAY TOURNAMENT The Portobello Bowling Club held a one-day tournament on Saturday. 14 rinks taking part. The green was in excellent order, but rain in the latter part of the afternoon made condftions rather unpleasant. The only unbeaten rink was that skipped by L. H. Gardner, of Portobello. W. Callender (Otago), with three wins and 83 points, was runner-up, and Hubbard (Caversham), with three wins and 58 points, gained third place.
