SPORTS POSTPONED
WET WEATHER IN CHRISTCHURCH (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 11. A week of hot weather, with boisterous north-west winds, ended early on Saturday, when, with a change to the south-west, heavy rain set in and continued intermittently until the evening. The rain was sufficient to cause a postponement yesterday of sporting fixtures, including cricket, lawn tennis, bowls and the Lyttelton Centennial Regatta.
