OATH OF ALLEGIANCE TAKEN A STATEMENT ISSUED BURGOS, Aug. 13. (Received Aug. 13, at 11 p.m.) The members of the new Cabinet took the oath of allegiance to General Franco, after which they jointly issued a statement that the Government's principal object is to achieve the moral unity of Spaniards and affirm to the world Spain's power and freedom. This demanded the mobilisation of faith and work. The Reconstruction Commission reported that national rehabilitation would cost £500,000,000.
