REFUGEE QUESTION
DR SCHACHT'S MISSION NO PLAN PRESENTED LONDON, Dec. 18. (Received Dec. 18, at 9 p.m.) In the course of informal talks, in which Dr Schacht, who has now concluded his private visit, has engaged, he met yesterday Mr Ruble'e, Director of the Intergovernmental Refugees Committee, and Earl Winterton, the chairman. It is understood that Dr Schacht has not presented any plan in connection with this problem, and that reports that proposals for other countries to finance Jewish emigration from Germany which have been advanced should be entirely disregarded.
