REMOVAL ADVOCATED VIEW OF THE AMERICAS SETBACK FOR BARTER SYSTEM (United Press Association) (By Electric relegrapn—Copyright) LIMA, Dec. 17. ■ (Received Dec. 18, at 9 p.m.) Delegates representing 21 American Governments to-night unanimously adopted a. resolution inspired in Washington denouncing excessive trade barriers, and pledged themselves to substitute quotas and reasonable tariffs as rapidly as possible. This sweeping approval of Mr Cordell Hull's trade policy by implication constitutes an emphatic repudiation of Germany's barter system.
