POSITION IN PALESTINE
BRITISH SOLDIERS KILLED JERUSALEM, Dec. 16. One British soldier was killed and four wounded when a land mine exploded under a military truck near the Nablus-Tulkarm road in the neighbourhood of yesterday's ambush, when one British soldier was killed and three were wounded. Four British constables were committed for trial on a charge of unjustifiably killing an Arab, who allegedly was shot dead while attempting to escape from ■ prison.
