WAR AND CHAOS
CHAMBERLAIN POLICY'S ALTERNATIVE ADVICE TO UNITED STATES OTTAWA, Dec. 16. Interviev/ed on his arrival; the American Ambassador to Britain (Mr Joseph Kennedy) said the alternative to Mr Chamberlain's policy was war and chaos. "The United States is better off if there is peace in Europe," Mr Kennedy said. " I strongly favour our policy of rearmament, but the United States should stay absolutely out of what happens in Europe."
