Whinam, one of the club’s promising young players, returned an aggregate of 149 for the two rounds antj won the competition by threq strokes from A. H. Boyd, whose aggregate was 152. Reeves, his score of 78—12—-66 being one which will no doubt receive the immediate attention of the handicappers. • *' ST. CLAIR CLUB . The annual match between teams representing the Captain and Deputy Captain respectively, which was played on the St, Clair Links on Saturday afternoon, resulted in a narrow victory for the Captain s team by Hi games to 10The winning team was entertained at a din-., ner in the clubhouse as guests of the losing side, after which the various cups and trophies won during the year were presented by the club captain, Mr J.
