WRESTLING
FRALEY v. MEEHAN The meeting between Pat. Fraley and Pat. Meehan at the Town Hall on Monday night will be the two men’s second encounter. Meehan suffered his only reverse in New Zealand at the hands of Fraley when Fraley incapacitated him at Wellington with his backbreaker hold. This hold has not been used in New Zealand before, and Meehan, who considers that it should be barred, is anxious for a return with Fraley, as in the Wellington match Meehan was injured by being dumped on to a turn-buckle at the side of the ring. Fraley, it is understood, has agreed to stop using this hold, as it is not considered legal, and Meehan, may now redeem his reputation on equal terms. Fraley has defeated Blomfleld and Meehan has drawn with the New Zealander, and the men thus appear to be very evenly matched. Further particulars are advertised.
