OTAGO LADIES’ CLUB The second qualifying round of the Otago Ladies’ Club Championship and B Grade Challenge Bowl competition was played on the Otago links yesterday. The • following players qualified, and will play off in match play to-day;— A Grade—Mrs Gibson v. Mrs Roydhouse, Miss Cook v. Mrs Macpherson, Mrs Gamble v. Mrs Potvine, Miss Brewer v Miss Haggitt, Mrs Carr v. Mrs Thomas, Mrs Dodgshun v. Mrs McCarthy, Miss Dodgshun v. Mrs Dawson Miss McHutcheson v. Miss Kyle B. Grade.—Miss Meek v. Mrs Lusk. Miss Porteous v. Mrs E. Walker. Mrs Blair v. Miss W. Johnstone. Mrs H. Walker v. Mrs Breeze, Mrs Sime v, Mrs Barron, Mrs McDougall v. Mrs O’Grady. Mrs Earnshaw v. Mrs Johnston, Miss Brown v, Miss Young. The best net scores in the two qualifying rounds were obtained by Miss Dodgshun (152) in the A Grade and Miss Meek (153) in the B Grade. The I.G.U match, which was played in conjunction with the qualifying round, was won by Mrs Thomas in the A Grade and Miss Meek .in the B Grade.
